   I bought this toy for my grandson’s 8th birthday. When he opened it he was beside himself with happiness. He played with it all night. It is also very safe, with it’s spongy darts. One suggestion to the manufacturer.. make cartridges with darts already installed that can be bought so if another child has the same toy, the game can go on faster.

   This nerf gun is fun to blast several bullets quickly. Unfortunately, it is not durable and only lasted a few days. I tried fixing it without success. We’ve found the single shot guns to be the most durable out of the various types of nerf guns that we have in our family.

   The Iron Man N.R.F. version of the otherwise Nerf Magstrike has been a fantastic purchase. The look, the firing sound, and ease of use are all attention grabbing. It looks more like something off of Futute Weapons than a children’s toy. The clip, sliding up and out of the gun whilst firing, makes a distinctive and enjoyably loud rat-a-tat-tat sure to scare your house cat.

   While it isn’t a problem for someone who tinkers as much as I do, these guns work on pressurized air like a SuperSoaker, and in some cases tend to leak O2. The newer versions, the newest is a Target exclusive Magstrike, have further improved the air leaking that the Iron Man model sought to eliminate.

   Fixing such a leak is easily managed with some 5 minute epoxy. Remove the 21 all visible screws and pry off the plastic ring at the base of the hand pump. The gun comes apart into 2 halves with all the internal parts secured in place. No risk of breaking it For me, the trigger valve leaked air. I painted it with soap, looked for bubbles, wiped it dry, gooped epoxy and let it cure. A perfect fix.

   This doesn’t happen to all Magstrikes, but no gun, even the new iteration, is entirely immune. It’s loads of fun and entirely worth the purchase either way. If you do feel confident in taking the gun apart (there are lots of guides on Youtube), there are addition modifications one can make to this very neat toy to improve upon Nerf engineering.

   Don’t hesitate for a second. The Nerd Iron Man N.R.F. is a great toy for all ages.

   Must have for all nerfers, juz when u thought u are down from the enemy attack a blast from this blaster can turn the game around

   kids and husband loved this item! it’s fun and safe since it uses the soft bullets.
